🧍♂️ About Me
I am currently a Research Assistant at the Quanzhou Institute of Equipment Manufacturing, Haixi Institutes, Chinese Academy of Sciences, working with Prof. Houde Dai. I am about to pursue a Ph.D. in Control Science and Engineering at the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), under the supervision of Prof. Jiankun Wang and Prof. Hong Zhang.
Previously, I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Automation from Huaqiao University, Xiamen, China, in 2020, where I was recognized as an outstanding graduate. In the same year, I was directly admitted to the graduate program at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, with the Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter, Chinese Academy of Sciences as my academic training unit. In 2023, I earned my Master’s degree in Control Engineering from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
My research focuses on robotics, specifically in the areas of planning, control, and social awareness for human-following robots. I am currently dedicated to developing user-aware control strategies that enable robots to follow or accompany users while respecting their social space. My ultimate goal is to create a socially-aware Robot Person Following system that adheres to social norms and demonstrates reliable intelligence in assisting humans.
